2. Operates in a 5 fold ministry - teaching (memory verses and bible facts), apostolic (innovative, empowering and training), evangelistic (speaking out about God), pastoral (parents & children spending time together) and prophetic (calling God's people back).
3. Relevant - The characters in the bible were real people just like you and me; it's just that many of them lived a long time ago. Children (and adults) often fail to see the relevance of something which happened thousands of years ago to people who dressed, ate, spoke and lived differently to we do today. Testament Trump characters are modern and have been made to be just like us!
4. Contemporary - God is the same today as he was all those years ago and His teachings as well as the lessons we can learn from each of the biblical characters are as relevant today as they were in the past.

So there is no reason why a hairdresser, pop star, athlete, weatherman or anyone else for that matter can't be used by God as effectively today as he did with Moses for example in the past.
